With Thanksgiving being so close, I thought it would be nice to share some of my favorite Thanksgiving Recipes to serve your guests this year. Thanksgiving is a time for the gathering of loved ones, counting our blessings and sharing in a bountiful feast of delicious food.
This Candied Sweet Potato Casserole Recipe from ‘lecremedelacrumb‘ has a crunchy candied pecan and marshmallow topping that is utterly delicious. This recipe is sure to be a hit at your holiday table this year. This dish is easy to make and I doubt there will be any leftovers after everyone has tasted this!
Candied Sweet Potato Casserole Recipe:
5 pounds sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 2 inch pieces
1 cup water
1 teaspoon vanilla
½ cup butter, melted
1 cup brown sugar
2-3 teaspoons salt (or to taste)
½ cup milk or heavy cream
½ cup brown sugar
⅓ cup flour
⅓ cup melted butter
1 cup chopped pecans (such as Diamond of California)
3-4 cups mini marshmallows
