These Sweet Butter Tart Squares Will Have You BEGGING For More!

Sweet Butter Tart Squares Recipe

Sweet Butter Tart Squares are (as the name implies) buttery! The yummy shortbread crust holds these tarts together while the sweet and gooey caramel-like filling will have you hooked! I use walnuts in this recipe rather than the raisins because these butter tarts are plenty sweet without adding raisins, but either taste great!

I could even see pecans tasting great in this recipe. I also prefer to use agave syrup rather than the light corn syrup. The purpose of this is to keep the filling gooey rather than too chewy. This is the perfect dessert for Thanksgiving or Christmas, but these are good enough to make for any event!

Personally, I love making these because it is a fun recipe to do. It’s easy and quick to make, the kids love helping, and it’s a great tasting recipe that’s as fun to eat as it is to make.
