Pumpkin Cinnamon French Toast Recipe

‘Tis the season for pumpkin but don’t settle for the unoriginal pumpkin pies and pumpkin spice flavored coffees. There are so many original and scrumptious pumpkin recipes that are perfect for the season. One breakfast which tops most other pumpkin recipes has to be this incredibly divine Pumpkin Cinnamon French Toast.

I love to make this breakfast around Thanksgiving time because it seems to get everyone in the holiday mood! The kids absolutely love this recipe and I like it too because it’s no harder to make than regular French toast and It’s got a great flavor to it!

Every bite tastes of fall and the seasonings put this recipe over the top! It’s a great breakfast and I think it tastes amazing with maple syrup and a bit of whipped cream!

Cook Temp: 350 degrees F  –  Cooking Time: Until golden brown 

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 Tbsp packed light-brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 9 slices Texas toast (or other white bread such as Challah or French bread)
  • Butter, for griddle
